About these terms
These terms apply to all work XC Media undertakes. The scope, pricing, deliverables and timelines for your project are set out in your quote or proposal. If the quote and this page ever say different things, the quote wins.
Quotes and acceptance
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Work begins once you accept the quote in writing and pay any deposit. If you ask for something outside the agreed scope, we quote it separately before we do it.
Payment
Invoices are payable within 14 days. Ongoing campaigns are billed monthly in advance. One-off production may require a deposit before the shoot date, set out in your quote, with the balance due on delivery. We may pause work on accounts more than 14 days overdue.
Delivery
Campaign content is delivered on a rolling weekly basis. One-off production timelines are set in the quote. Delivery depends on you providing access, locations, approvals and brand assets on time. Delays on your side move the timeline by the same amount.
Revisions
One round of revisions is included per asset. A revision means changes to colour, pacing, captions, music, or minor recuts within the material already shot. It doesn't mean a reshoot or a fundamentally different concept. Additional rounds are quoted separately.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Shoots cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice may be charged in full. The time is reserved for you and can't be refilled at short notice. Campaigns run month to month with 30 days notice to finish up. Work completed up to that point is payable.
Client responsibilities
You provide access to premises and locations, and permission to film staff, customers and premises, including any consent needed from people appearing on camera. You supply logos, brand assets and account access where relevant, and approvals on time.
Ownership and portfolio rights
Once your invoice is paid in full, the final delivered files are yours. Use them commercially, anywhere, for as long as you like.
XC Media keeps the raw footage and project files.
XC Media may show completed work in its portfolio, on this website, and on its social channels. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us in writing before the project begins and we won't.
Third-party costs
Music licensing, stock assets, talent fees, permits, and travel beyond 50km from Mildura are additional. They're always quoted in advance.
Performance
We deliver content to the agreed standard. We don't guarantee specific business outcomes, reach, engagement, follower growth or revenue. Those depend on platform algorithms and factors outside anyone's control.
Liability
Our liability for any piece of work is capped at the amount you paid for that work. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the guarantees that services are provided with due care and skill and are fit for purpose. Those rights apply no matter what any contract says.
Confidentiality
Both sides keep commercially sensitive information confidential. What we learn about your business stays between us, and the same applies the other way.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force for your project is the one on this page at the time the work is agreed.
